Association of Hedge Funds professionals (IAHFP) ("the
Association") values and respects the privacy of visitors,
members, clients, contractors and employees.
We take our
responsibilities regarding the privacy and the security of
information very seriously. We are committed to providing with a
professional personalized service whilst respecting and
safeguarding privacy.
We will not disclose or sell email
addresses or any other private information to any third party.
No Personal Information is gathered and/or tracked by the
International Association of Hedge Funds Professionals (IAHFP)
without the knowledge of the visitors of the websites. When you
visit our web sites, we do not collect personal data. Personal
data is any information that allows you to be identified.
The International Association of Hedge Funds Professionals
(IAHFP) collects personal data from you only through the use of
registration forms, direct personal contact with you and every
time you email us. We use strong encryption and only authorized

provide you with their services.

information do we collect?
We collect information
from you when you become a member to the
Association and when
you purchase our distance learning and online certification
programs.
When you become a member to the Association,
you give us your name and e-mail
address, in order to send you your monthly updates and alerts (for
free). You can unsubscribe at any time, no questions asked. You
may, however, visit our site anonymously.
When
you purchase our distance learning and online certification
programs, you give your personal information to a trusted
third party like PayPal and Moneybookers, not to our Association .
We have no access to your credit card number.
Any data we request that is not required
will be specified as voluntary or optional. You may visit
our site anonymously.
What
do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you are provided by you,
and may be used in the following ways:
• To personalize your experience
(your information helps us to better respond to your individual
needs)
• To improve our website
(we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on
the information and feedback we receive from you)

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety

the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's
Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not
collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age.
Our website, products and services are all directed to people who
are at least 13 years old or older.
CAN-SPAM Compliance
We have taken the necessary steps to ensure that we are compliant
with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 by never sending out misleading
information.

Other Policies - Instructor led classes
Open Classes cancellation policy
To maximize
the effectiveness of our training sessions we limit the number
of attendees per class, and pay the training venues well in
advance.
Class registrations are not
confirmed until payment received in full. All registrations are
final and non-refundable. Registrants who have paid for
training sessions CAN NOT reschedule or cancel reservations.
Those who fail to appear for training as scheduled will NOT
take their money back. Substitutions may be made at any
time. In the unlikely event of cancellation by the
Association, any payment made for the cancelled class will be
refunded. The client understands and agrees that the
Association shall not, in any way, be held responsible for any
costs, including loss of airfare or other transportation costs,
hotel expenses or other damages, which the client may suffer in
the event that he Association cancels or reschedules a class.
Client-site training
cancellation policy
Cancellation of client-site training less than 15 business days
before the scheduled start date will be subject to a
cancellation fee of 100 percent of the contracted fee.
Cancellation of client-site training more than 15 business days
before the scheduled start date will be subject to a
cancellation fee of 50 percent of the contracted fee.
If guests or customers do not agree with the policies and the
legal notice, they must not use the services provided by this
web site and we will not be able to provide any services to
them.
